Where we Work

RISE Anew began its journey in Uganda, focusing on communities where young people face the steepest barriers to opportunity.

Our initial work is centred in Entebbe and surrounding communities, supporting young women and men who face limited access to skills, employment, mentorship and livelihood opportunities.

Our approach is deliberately grassroots. We work with individuals and communities to identify practical opportunities for skills development, entrepreneurship, mentoring and livelihood support. We are currently strengthening our work in Entebbe while exploring opportunities to respond to needs in other underserved communities across Uganda.

Through local partnerships and community engagement, we aim to help young women and men build practical skills, entrepreneurial capacity, confidence and greater economic resilience.

Looking ahead, RISE Anew intends to gradually expand its reach within Uganda as our partnerships, resources and experience grow. Over time, we also hope to share and adapt our approach in other vulnerable communities in the East and Central African region, where appropriate and in partnership with local organisations.—regions where youth remain both the greatest hope and the greatest need.
