Our Team
Kwesiga Byron Elijah – Chairperson
A community-driven faith leader from Entebbe Christian Centre, Pastor Elijah brings hands-on experience in child education, family welfare, and rural outreach. His passion for mentoring youth and supporting vulnerable families through church and school networks reflects RISE Anew’s belief in education-first empowerment and local leadership.
Prince Nehemiah – Founder & Executive Director
A seasoned humanitarian aid and development professional, Prince Nehemiahhas served in some of the world’s most challenging contexts—including Afghanistan, South Sudan, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, and Cameroon.
Through years of frontline experience, he discovered a powerful truth: even in the heart of crisis, people are resourceful, determined, and eager to rebuild their lives.
This realization challenged the traditional humanitarian model of prolonged aid dependency. Instead, Prince pioneered early recovery within the crisis phase—helping communities access the tools, training, and opportunities to take charge of their own recovery. From this vision, RISE Anew was born.
